About Okwu ID
Okwu ID aims to share the diaspora experience while celebrating and promoting Igbo and African culture, language, and history. Our goal is to foster a sense of Igbo identity, community, and pride among the youth in the diaspora and find ways to positively support those back home in Africa.
We believe that engaging with young individuals and instilling a sense of self-worth is crucial for boosting personal achievement. By challenging and dispelling negative stereotypes about the Black community and Africa, we strive to counteract low self-esteem and encourage a more positive self-image.
